It seemed as though it would be a solution. My wife and I both have these rather large Yeti cups we love and while they do fit into the center cup holders, they just barely fit. And frankly, the placement is inconvenient as you have to reach slightly behind you. While driving this is not ideal.
So, “the Ledge” cupholder seemed like a great answer. But it wasn’t. Even though it is heavy duty and is larger than most, it just does not fit into the Cross. The distance from the inside of the door to where it would slide into the window is farther than even “The Ledge” can accommodate. The heavy duty nature of the cupholder (the thickness of the ABS) means it is less flexible which means if it is not designed to perfectly to fit the Cross doors, it won’t work. Result, it does not fit. Sadly, we could not use these and had to return them.
It’s a good product but not suited for the Cross.
